Come to an early morning Ashtanga yoga practice group! In this series you will have the experience of developing your individual practice as a meditative flow led by your own breath together with a community of other yogis. This is a great opportunity for people of all levels- whether you are wanting to memorize the primary series at your own pace, if you are experienced with the practice and wish to develop a regular routine, or if you are interested in expanding/advancing your practice by exploring postures from the intermediate series.
***This is a practice group, not a traditional Mysore session facilitated with attention from an instructor. There will be no teacher leading a class, doing adjustments, or providing any sort of guidance or instruction. There will be print outs available with illustrations of the primary and intermediate series to reference if you are learning the practice.

Johannah has been practicing Mysore style Ashtanga yoga since 2012 with KPJAYI Authorized Level 2 teachers Vivian Bedford and Aeryk Bjork in Olympia, WA. She recently moved to Vermont where she is enrolled in a 200 hour teacher training at Yoga Vermont, and has just completed 40 hours of Ashtanga teacher training with David Swenson and Shelly Washington. Johannah also studies herbalism, makes art, and works growing food. She is very excited to develop and share this practice with the community! She is hoping to plan a trip to Mysore, India in the near future.
